Bio
Genalyn, who prefers to be called Jing, was born in Manila but grew up in Baguio City, the "Summer Capital of the Philippines." She's known for her dedication and expertise. An alumna of Saint Louis University with a BS Commerce degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, she also diversified her knowledge with units in Secondary Education.
Her administrative career at Equitable Bank (now BDO) in Makati, serving as a secretary to Atty. Matibag in the Investment Banking Department. It was in this role that she discovered her passion for administration and rapidly mastered essential skills, laying the groundwork for her success.
Her career spans several years in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) with notable companies like Bell South, Sprint, Dell Finance, and People PC, culminating in a decade as a Senior Specialist in Mortgage Banking at JP Morgan Chase Bank.
In March 2018, she joined Parkway Real Estate as a direct assistant to the Broker/Owner, Danielle, through Summit VA Solutions. After a brief hiatus in 2024, she's back and ready to contribute her expertise once again.
Volunteer
During the time she worked in a corporate environment, she joined multiple volunteer activities including clean up drive ” Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig “, joined building houses for “Habitat for Humanity”
Personal
Outside of work, she's a truly outgoing person who loves watching movies and cherishes time spent with friends and family.
Introduced to biking by her common-law partner, Joel, she now enjoys stationary biking at home for health, but still embraces the outdoors through camping trips with her family, including their two boys, Dave (who's graduating college this year) and Gavrie (starting his third year in high school).
Embracing her role as a Virtual Assistant has been transformative, allowing her to pursue administrative tasks she genuinely enjoys while gaining the precious gift of more time with her family at home.
