Every month we have decided that we will be featuring one agent and will be asking random questions to get to know more about him/her, this month of April we are featuring our very own Julia Badiali.

What is life like outside of real estate, do you have any hobbies? Life outside of real estate is busy! I am a full time special education teacher for Boston Public Schools. When I’m not at school, you can find me at my favorite workout spots. I love doing spin at Rev’d Indoor Cycle in Dedham, and lifting heavy stuff at Crossfit Florian in Norwood. Having the summers off means lots of travel with my husband. We just recently went to Spain.

What’s the craziest thing you have ever done? I’m not much of an adrenaline junkie, but have done some things that people might consider crazy. I’ve gone sky diving and seen Pearl Jam in Spain with 80,000 other people.

What is your favorite food? It’s a tie between pizza and buffalo chicken

What is one thing you just can’t resist? A good deal! I have a shopping problem!

Is there anything you have always wanted to learn? My father emmigrated to the United States when he was a child. I’ve always wanted to learn, and be fluent in the Portuguese language.

What was the first concert you attended? Silverchair at the Worcteser Palladium

What is your favorite tv series? Game of Thrones

What was your first job, and how old were you? I got my first job when I was 15. I worked at a local pizza place in my hometown of Quincy

Why did you choose to become an agent? I chose to become an agent because I thought my skills as a teacher would transfer well to real estate. Being available in the evenings, on weekends, and during vacation weeks works great for my schedule in terms of doing showings, running open houses, and writing offers.

You were our first agent, why Parkway Real Estate? I chose to work at Parkway for lots of reasons. Danielle was a great mentor to me throughout the testing and licensing process. I loved that she was a female business owner, and really wanted to be a part of that. I liked Parkway’s boutique style approach to real estate, and loved the West Roxbury connection as it is where I live now.
