The Commonwealth has implemented some safeguards so you can keep your property protected. By signing up for their Consumer Notification Service, you will be alerted anytime a document is recorded using your name or property address.

It’s a quick way to stay informed and spot potential fraud early. You can register up to 3 properties.

The link below is directed towards Suffolk County, but if you click on their link to register you can find a list of all participating registries.
